(2007-2011)
microXRF applications
for archaeological ceramics
(2015 - present)

During my collaboration with the Multimedia Research Group of the Athena Research and Innovation Center I learnt many precious lessons: I learnt about team structure and team work, pointclouds and meshes, lists and pointers, ifs and if-elses... It was great.

The adjacent video demonstrates my part in the work 'Content-based navigation within virtual museums', Koutsoudis et al.

- Development of a methodology for the accurate quantification of elemental maps of ceramic sherds using custom reference materials

- Phase analysis and spectral data processing

Part of this work was presented in the 13th European Meeting on Ancient Ceramics.

For more information on quantification of elemental maps of ceramic sherds please visit the dedicated poster website

The adjacent presentation shows my work and experiences during the first half of the NARNIA project. Since then I've had the chance to go through so many more beautiful moments with these wonderful colleagues.

To know more about what NARNIA was all about you can visit the official website.

Don't forget to check out the NARNIA booklet, with short contributions from everyone's work, as well as the upcoming NARNIA special issue in Journal of Archaeological Science Reports.
